In his talk, Adam explains the factors behind the long period of economic growth seen after the Second World War and examines the contrasting economic theories of Marxism and Keynesianism in relation to the postwar period and to today's crisis.

In his talk, Adam explains the factors behind the long period of economic growth seen after the Second World War, based on the analysis provided by Ted Grant - founder of the Militant Tendency and the International Marxist Tendency - in his article "Will There Be a Slump?", and examines the contrasting economic theories of Marxism and Keynesianism in relation to the postwar period and today's crisis.
