Capitalism is horror without end. Recent events have only made this assertion by Lenin all the more apparent, as this profit-driven system leads to more conflict, destruction, and despair.
But there can be an end to such horror: by putting an end to the capitalist system itself. That is the task of the international working class. That is the task we set ourselves.
It is only from our supporters in the movement that we can draw upon the necessary means to wage this struggle.
Please donate to our fighting fund today, so that we can continue to build and arm our class – the working class – with the ideas and the organisation to carry out this fight to the finish.
This weekend, Socialist Appeal activists will come together for our first in-person national conference since 2020. Already, it is shaping up to be our biggest ever. But we should also mark this important event with our most successful fighting fund collection ever!
As we say every year (and not without reason), this year will be the most important year in the tendency’s history so far. And the success of this collection will determine our ability to rise to the occasion.
Without our fighting fund, we would not be able to continue renting our current office or contribute to the summer collection of the International Marxist Tendency (IMT). Yet these are both essential for the building of the Marxist tendency, in Britain and the world over.
For this reason, we are hoping to raise £70,000 at our national conference. Of this, £50,000 will go to the IMT, to support the vital work of the International, and to help our comrades in Russia, Pakistan, Indonesia, and many other countries in whatever way we can. The rest will go towards the cost of renting our office in London.
We would therefore like to make an appeal directly to you – our comrades, supporters, and readers. Could you make a donation or pledge to help us reach this target?
If you are able to contribute anything, large or small, it will be a great help towards taking the forces of Marxism in Britain to the next level. And if recent events have proven anything, it is that this is urgently required.
