Today, underground workers (RMT train operators working out of the Seven Sisters depot covering the Victoria Line) are holding a 24 hour strike that started at 9pm last night and goes until 9pm tonight closing the entire line.

The dispute is due to the continued bullying and harassment of RMT members and representatives on the Victoria Line, the sacking of Carl Campbell, the continued victimization of Glenroy Watson and the failure to install the correct door side enabling equipment which is operational on all other lines in the underground. The bosses have been using the issue of the doors as an excuse to discipline the workers.

About 30 were on the picket line including other tube workers and supporters, including the unfairly sacked cleaners from the Mitie / Willis campaign.
