The end of the world as we know it…

As the big day approaches, the hysteria builds up to a crescendo. The 21st December 2012 is seen as being the next date of the ‘end of the world’, according to the ancient Mayan calendar. Yes, this time the world is really supposed to end, we are told, and apologies for all the previous false alarms.

2011 International IMT School report

The IMT World School that was held in Italy between 31 July and 5 August was a tremendous success. About 225 comrades from many different countries and continents travelled to the Italian seaside resort of Marina de Massa in order to attend a week of intense but enjoyable and educational meetings.

2009 Xmas Fighting Fund Appeal

2009 has been a momentous year for Socialist Appeal. The move from a magazine to a full colour tabloid format was without a doubt the biggest step we have taken since we started publishing in 1992. Through the years we have made a number of advances but this was the one which carried the most risks since it was dependant on us firstly raising the funds to go ahead and then increasing the sales to make it worthwhile and cost effective. The prize was being able to reach more people with a higher quality paper that still had the highest quality content within it. But we need your support...

Lenin Walk This Saturday
