The incursion of Turkish troops into Kurdish Iraq and the stravation blockade of Palestine makes an already difficult situation even worse. US imperialism and their supporters in Europe are facing a potentially devastating defeat.

This puts under question not only the position of imperialism and their multinationals but also of the regimes in Iran and Egypt. Fred Weston, editor of Marxist.com, talked to the ULU Marxist society on Wednesday and the current situation and the future for the Middle East.
